The Asymmetric Medallion Earrings are deliberately mismatched, which is a design decision rather than a manufacturing accident. Asymmetric pairs have been a fixture in contemporary jewellery for years because they are more interesting to look at than two identical objects and because they force the eye to move between the ears.
