The Maria Two-Tone Wire Ring solves a problem most people have without ever articulating it, which is that they own both gold and silver jewellery and have been told at some point that the two should not be mixed. A ring carrying both settles the argument on your hand and lets everything else you own coordinate with it.

Fine gold-tone wire wraps a silver-tone band, so the two metals sit together rather than competing. The proportion is what makes it work. The gold is an accent rather than half the ring, which keeps the piece from looking indecisive. Sizing runs EU 46 through 60.

Wear it as the bridge piece between gold and silver items elsewhere on the hand or wrist. It is one of the more genuinely useful rings in this collection for that reason alone. Remove before showering, swimming, sleeping and applying perfume or hand cream. Store dry and away from other pieces. Plated finishes last far longer when they are kept away from water and cosmetics.
