The Hug Pendant Charm is an add-on rather than a complete necklace, designed to go onto a chain you already own. That is worth knowing before you order, because it arrives as the pendant alone with no chain. For anyone already wearing a plain chain it is the cheapest way to change what that chain is doing.

There are two designs, one drawn for women and one for men, and two finishes in black and gold-tone. Black is the more graphic and works against a dark chain or a plain shirt. Gold-tone is warmer and sits naturally against a gold chain already on the neck. The two designs are proportioned differently rather than being the same piece at two sizes.

Check that your existing chain will pass through the bail before ordering, since a heavy chain will not fit a fine pendant. Wear it alone on a plain chain for the cleanest result. From Marlowe & Rue. Remove before showering, swimming and sleeping. Store dry in a pouch or box rather than loose. Plated finishes wear fastest against moisture, perfume and hairspray.
